Together with scholars from LMU Munich and Warwick Business School, ESTT member G. Reischauer organized the workshop “Artificial Intelligence in the Processes and Practices of Digital Strategizing”.
While scholarship on digital strategies such as platform strategies is progressing, less attention has been paid to the role of digital technologies in the processes and practices of strategy-making. To address this gap, this workshop focuses on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as machine and deep learning technologies. Specifically, by bringing together distinguished strategy and information systems scholars, this workshop aims to give an overview of recent advancements on the role of AI in the processes and practices of crafting, refining, and implementing (digital) strategies and to discuss how different theoretical perspectives and methods can advance future research.
