This Innovation Talk with the title “Radical Corporate Innovation in Energy: Success Factors and Best Practices” was held by Dr. Ernesto Ciorra, Chief Innovability Officer (Head of the Enel Group’s Innovability® Function) at Enel.

Enel has combined innovation and sustainability in a model called “Innovability”®. Thereby, it follows an “open” approach that leverages an ecosystem of customers, employees, suppliers, start-ups, international organizations, universities and NGOs. Innovative ideas can be proposed through the Enel crowdsourcing platform “Openinnovability.com” and a network of Innovation Hubs all around the world is in place to get in touch with start-ups and other stakeholders. Success factors and best practices of this system have been discussed in this talk.
