In June 2021, selected students from WU’s SIMC master program presented findings to partner executives as part of the business project course on Corporate Entrepreneurship.
This semester’s business project focused on how firms in energy industries can boost innovation through different intrapreneurship formats. Equipped with several state-of-the-art project management, firm analysis, and industry analysis tools, students developed frameworks to analyze and implement intrapreneurship initiatives in two phases. In the first phase, students conducted in-depth analysis of partners’ intrapreneurship competences vis-à-vis the state-of-the-art in intrapreneurship from academic literatures. In the second phase, student teams developed suggestions based on industry expert interviews on how the partners can improve their innovation outcomes through specific intrapreneurship processes.
